Signing up for Caldwell's no-sort curbside recycling program will help our schools and the environment! The P16 Caldwell Education Project (funded by a grant from the United Way) prepares students from Caldwell schools for education beyond high school. With its Preschool, K-12, and Career Aspirations programs, this nonprofit project touches every child in the Caldwell School District. After two years of P16, more of these students are taking action to reach the career of their dreams. Every step of the way, P16 is proving our youth can achieve the success they deserve.
Residents subscribing to the service must have a trash account with the City of Caldwell. Subscription cost for the recycling service is $4.95 a month and a portion of every monthly fee will be given to the P16 Caldwell Education Project (estimated potential of $16K a month).
Participating customers will be given a 95 - gallon blue cart that will be emptied the same day as their trash, every other week. Newspaper, magazines, tin cans, aluminum cans, cardboard, plastic and mixed-waste paper can be mixed together in the cart. Republic Services will be delivering recycling instructions a collection calendar with each cart.
Trucks powered by clean-burning compressed natural gas (CNG) will be servicing the blue carts.
