Spring Clean-Up
Spring is here and residents are cleaning out their homes, gardens and garages. Many of the cities we serve have designated spring clean-up periods where bulky items, appliances, extra garbage and yard debris can be disposed of for free. Below is a list of acceptable items and the schedule of collection dates.
Accepted Items:
Tree branches/shrubs-cut & tied into 4' bundles, weighing less than 60 pounds
Bagged grass clippings and yard debris (must use trash cans and Paper leaf Bags in Boise)
Small household items
Large and small furniture items
Non-Freon appliances (Freon appliances accepted in Boise)
Carpet/vinyl pieces-rolled into 4' lengths, weighing 60 pounds or less
Miscellaneous household debris in trash cans/trash carts
Spring Clean-Up Collection Dates:
- Boise - 4/1 - 4/12
- Caldwell - 4/22 - 4/26
- Eagle - 5/6 - 5/10
- Garden City - 5/20 - 5/24
- Meridian- 5/6 - 5/10
- Middleton - 4/22 - 4/26
- Mountain Home - 5/6 - 5/10
- Nampa - 4/22 - 4/26
- Star- 5/6 - 5/10
